Comments I actually wanted to commend you on your breeding practices, the fact that you alter prior to placing your pups is very commendable! As the founder and President of Huskies To Love Siberian Rescue of Maryland, Inc. A 501 ( C ) 3 non profit Siberian rescue I am very impressed with your kennels, breeding ethics, and the manner in which you care for and about your Sibes and Mals. I have 3 Siberians and 1 Malamute. All but my oldest Alpha male, ( Nookie ) are rescues each with a horrible past. I have 2 females, Neka who was abused and neglected and very possibly used in an amature dog fighting ring as bait, I got to her when they dumped her in Georgetown Delaware pound the day she was due to go down. Suka was pulled from a pound in Pittsburg, PA after finially being caught after she was thrown from a moving car at the age of 5 months, and beaten to the extent of having fractured ribs and nose. Nikkie, I pulled from an Amish puppy mill here in Garrett County, Maryland at the age of 18 months. He was a breeding male, very Omega living within a very small run with 5 other very Alpha males, attacked numerous times daily, never allowed to eat...he has since been diagnosed with Post Tramatic Stress Disorder from the abuse he endured while in the mill. Huskies To Love has since filed a complaint with the DOA since the HSUS would not follow up on my accusations against the owners. I am glad to say that that Mill has now been shut down and the owners fined after many puppies were found dead and as the State vet said finding one of the worst cases of Canine Herpes Virus he has ever seen in that mill along with the horrible living conditions. We are now working on shutting the owners son's mill down as well. Since I see daily the worst end of breeding and selling these two wonderful breeds for the purpose of greed, looking at your site made me feel that perhaps there may be hope for these two breeds one day. Thank you for caring enough to do what is right and what I consider ethical to provide a loving, caring and healthy enviorment for the Siberians and Malamutes! Again, Huskies To Love Siberian Rescue of Maryland, Inc. Commends you for your love, care and breeding practices!

Comments Hey Jolene,
Just wanted to check in on you guys. New kennels look great and I'm jealous of the room you have. Just wanted to let you know that "Sierra" Sierra's Sassy Lady in Red (Chaysin X Nani) earned her Canine Good Citizen (CGC) 8/12/06 at the Greater Hickory Dog Show. The judge was impressed with her attitude, "very laid back for a Siberian". Much love to you all!
Susan
